[Video] Flare Will Avenge You (Really)
FLAREWAY - Fast Casting and Flare makes for an overpowered method of raking in the fame in tombs. Though this build requires a bit more practice then IWAY, you end up being able to defeat all the generic FotW builds in tombs...in under 2 minutes. Smite dead, IWAY dead, Rangers dead, Blood Necros dead:
Mirror - http://files.filefront.com/flarewaya.../fileinfo.html
Each build is different. Some have AOE's, some have strips, but all builds have Flare. The differences in the characters are there to handle each type of build you'll run into in tombs. Against IWAY, ball up and use Flare to just drop warriors. At some point rush in and massicre the pets in one go. Against blood necros or smite, use Met's to drop DPS characters so they can't harm you, and lots of Flare spam for hundreds of DPS. In effect, you create a lazer beam of Flares that will drop targets faster then you can switch targets.
*Use a download manager like DAP or I think Firefox has one built in.

I can see it now... soon everyone will be playing this flare build (and sucking at it) and then the players will cry 'nerf flare!'... Haha, that would be the day.
But anyway, looked like quite a fun build The only question now, is what comes after the flare build?

lol, nice video. I actually tried to put together a stone daggers group like this, just with a few enchantments and ether renewal. But we just ended up using obsidian flame to kill people mostly. Gotta try this flare build

Funny thing is, me and my guild tested this out in arenas 2 days ago using MoR with it too. Maybe thats who Aerolion is referring to.

Group I saw was running 3 Me/Es spamming flare and a warrior. Not sure what the war was doing.

YOU CAN'T CHEAT IN GW. give it a rest....you can do whatever you want on the client side, but the server side is going to be accurate to the game no matter what.

The tutorials are for making speedhacks. 'hacks' which will make the game run faster or slower depending on what you set it at.
Too bad the server resets the client data if it ever seems out of place. It's simple really. Like if I edited my game to think I have 1 million plat, the server will still have my original data stored and just overwrite my 1 mil plat with what ever the server stored.
Or in this game, if I speed it up to make me move at 500 miles a second, the server will just snap me back in place.
Jeez, do you even know what your talking about?

i know enough to know what is what.
for all we know, he is editing the packets[encrypted] which come in and out of GW, so dont say GW is impossible to hack.
as i said before, he probably knows what hes doing.

All of the game play for GW is server side; the client is mostly a dumb display client that shows where things are, etc. Sometimes the client is
even wrong or mis-informed (ever wonder why monsters tend to jump,
and when you go to kill them they arn't there?). The positions and actions
of avatars (your on-line characters) are all handled server side. At the best
he could make client-side macros or "auto-responders" that would help
him run a build better -- in any case, I'd hardly call that serious cheating.

for him to cheat as you say...he would have to directly hack into the server...no offense kuntz, but i don't give you that much credit
|
so you believe the client tells the server nothing at all???
so you saying the client doesnt tell the server where you move?

this is what people said about 'pure' servers in many FPS titles.
